It’s amazing we saw Kensington withrdaw from buy to let entirely after being the only man standing at 85%. Suddenly it’s 2012 and six lenders make the opposite decision and step up to 80%. I think that’s the right decison as 80% LTV buy to let still offers both the lender and borrower a significant margin of protection in the event prices fluctuate.
